Your Roles
Our clients needs expert advise and guidance in implementing solutions for managing and leveraging their data for improving their business. Your primary goal will be to help clients in designing, implementing and supporting data platforms that run critical workloads for our clients that drive business improvement. You will play a crucial role in understanding client requirements, proposing suitable solutions, and delivering them successfully. Your expertise in Linux servers, data platforms, DevOps, cloud services, cyber security, networking, Infrastructure-as-Code and data center hardware is crucial in assuring our clients that their data and data infrastructure are safe, working optimally and in good hands.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit and document data-related requirements.
- Analyze existing data structures and processes, working closely with data engineering teams to develop and maintain data models aligned with business needs.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and data engineering teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements.
- Define and execute test cases for data engineering processes to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of data sources and effective ETL processes; establish and maintain a feedback loop with stakeholders to gather input on data solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data technologies, tools, and best practices. Leverage your technical knowledge to drive innovation and continuously improve our data solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and self-directed.
- Passionate about solving technical problems independently as well collaboratively with the team.
- Proven experience in system analysis & design, software quality control, designing and coordinating implementation platforms for data warehouses, data lakes, APIs, ETL processes, data visualization, knowledge graphs, and bespoke applications.
- Strong understanding of business processes and objectives to effectively translate them into data requirements.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex data structures and identifying patterns.
- Ability to derive actionable insights from data to inform business decisions.
- Experience in data engineering lifecycle, data governance, data security, utilization of ETL, and graph data model development is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL or Neo4J Cypher is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in ETL tooling such as SSIS, Talend, NiFi or other similar tools is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
- Nice To Have
- Experience in theories and practices around software engineering, software architecture, Kimball data warehouse dimensional modeling, knowledge graph, natural language.
- Experience in data projects that utilize technologies such as Spark, Kubernetes, Jupyter, Neo4j, KNIME, Cloudera, HPE Ezmeral, PostgreSQL, Citus, Presto, Trino, Hive, Airflow, Superset, NodeJS, MinIO, Rancher, Gitlab CE.
